Stephanie Meyer's teen vampire romance book "Twilight" makes it to the big screen this weekend starring Robert pattinson as Edward and Kristen Stewart as Bella. There's no doubt that "Twilight" will make tons of cash, but will it satisfy fans an non-fans of the book alike? "Twilight" Soundtrack Hits #1 On The Billboard 200 Albums Chart

The soundtrack to "Twilight," the upcoming movie hitting theaters November 21st, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, selling 169,000 copies.

This is the third film soundtrack to hit #1 in 2008, following "Juno" and "Mamma Mia!". The soundtrack features new songs from Paramore, MuteMath, Perry Farrell and the Black Ghosts. It also features two songs from Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen in the film.


Last week's #1, AC/DC's Black Ice, dropped down to #2 with sales of over 159,000 copiess. The Wal-Mart exclusive album has already sold well over a million copies in its three weeks in release. The "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" soundtrack drops to #3 this week, selling 110,000 copies.

The next highest debut this week, Hinder's Take It to the Limit comes in at #4 with sales of 81,000. Their 2005 album Extreme Behavior sold over 2.7 million copies on the strength of the hit single, "Lips of an Angel."


Pink's Funhouse drops to #5 in it's second week, with sales of 73,000. The album debuted last week at #2. John Legend's Evolver drops to #6 from last week, not far behind Pink with sales with 72,000. T.I. continues at #7 for a second week with only a 10% sales slip.

Andrea Bocelli's latest album, Incanto, debuts at # 8 this week selling 62,000 copies. His last album, 2006's Amore, debuted at #6. Brad Paisley's Play debuts at #9 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Country Albums Chart. Rascall Flatts' Greatest Hits Volume 1 rounds out the top 10, falling from #6 last week.

Other notable debuts include Q-Tip's The Renaissance at #12, and Yo-Yo Ma's Songs of Joy and Peace at #20.
